In geometry, a net is a two-dimensional representation of a three-dimensional polyhedron. It is a flattened out version of the polyhedron that shows all of its faces connected in a single plane. By cutting along the edges of the polyhedron and laying it flat, the net reveals how the individual faces fit together to form the 3D shape.
