Justinian Rweyemamu

Justinian Rweyemamu (1934–2017) was a prominent Tanzanian economist, academic, and politician. He is best known for his contributions to development economics and policies in Tanzania. Rweyemamu was particularly influential during the time of Tanzania's post-independence era under President Julius Nyerere and played a significant role in shaping the country's economic strategies, including its emphasis on socialism and self-reliance.
