Cord (unit)

A cord is a unit of measure used for quantifying firewood or timber. It is defined as the volume of a stack of wood that measures 128 cubic feet (3.62 cubic meters). Typically, a cord is stacked in a way that the pieces of wood are neatly arranged and not just loosely piled.
