Miguel Alcubierre is a Mexican theoretical physicist best known for proposing the concept of the "Alcubierre Drive," a speculative idea based on a solution of Einstein's field equations in general relativity. The Alcubierre Drive suggests a method of faster-than-light travel by creating a "warp bubble" that contracts space in front of a spacecraft and expands it behind, allowing the craft to move effectively faster than light without violating the laws of physics.
