John Polkinghorne

John Polkinghorne (1930–2021) was a British theoretical physicist, theologian, and Anglican priest, known for his work in both the sciences and religion. He began his career as a physicist, making significant contributions to the field of particle physics, and participated in key research at the University of Cambridge and in various international projects. Later in life, Polkinghorne shifted his focus to theology and became an ordained minister in the Church of England.
