Ferdynand Antoni Ossendowski (1876–1945) was a Polish writer, explorer, and politician. He is best known for his travel literature and his works that explore themes of philosophy, mysticism, and the human experience. Ossendowski gained considerable fame for his adventures and explorations in Asia, particularly in Mongolia and Siberia, during the early 20th century.
